Default Bunny Love reviewed at FAR from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Fallen Angels Review has reviewed Bunny Love.

Tamara Wood notices him, how could she not, a gorgeous man in nothing but a kilt with tattoos. When he runs into her and asks where he can find Tamara Wood, it’s a dream come true. Of course he needs her services, vet services that is, with a baby bunny that needs saving. She’s hoping he can feel the heat that is between them.

Blade needs help keeping the bunny alive. The sparks that ignite between him and Tamara are just icing on the cake. He’s hoping that he can take the place of her vibrator. Can he save the bunny and keep this thing between them going, or will it fizzle out when the retreat is over?

What can I say about a story that heats up the blood from the on-set? Ms. Hasker sure knows what readers want from their erotica; hunky men and the women who love to love them. Throw in a cute baby bunny and you have a story that not only scorches the pages but one that pulls at the heartstrings as well. A quick read for when you’re standing in line or riding the bus or train on the way to your own adventure.

Default Mountain Rendevous reviewed! from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Cherokee at Coffee Time Romance gave Mountain Rendezvous 4 cups, and said this:

Mountain Rendezvous is a spectacular read. I love the interaction with Meredith and Slade. The reader can almost understand what Meredith is going through, as she tries to push any feelings aside for Slade because of the way men have treated her. Once they connect, it is a powerhouse. Michelle Hasker has penned a great story that keeps the reader entertained while guessing about the turn of events with the Slasher. She makes her characters come alive and writes engaging stories that make this reader want more.

Default New Review: The Bodyguard from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Pam from My Book Cravings gave The Bodyguard 4 out of 5, and said:

This is my first book by Miss Hasker, and I have to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The sexual chemistry between Elena and Nicholas is intense, but at the same time filled with tenderness and compassion as he tries to help her work through her hurts of the past. The author has managed to pack a lot of emotion, characters and plot into this well written short literary gem. The manner that Miss Hasker dealt with the violence that Elena experienced at the hands of her captor, and how Nicholas’s used similar loving situations to make new memories, was a wonderful twist that I didn’t expect. The introduction of Nicholas’ identical twin leads me to hope for his story sometime in the future.

Default New Review! Mountain Rendezvous :) from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Today must be my lucky day! Mountain Rendezvous got another great review!!

And I did up an excel spreadsheet for Sven and Nano. Yes I live to procastinate!!

Title: Mountain Rendezvous
Author: Michelle Hasker
Publisher: Loose Id
Publisher URL: www.loose-id.net
Reviewer: Sandi Potterton
Rating: 4 Stars
Heat level: H

Meredith Craine had no choice but to kill her husband. She didn't kill him because he was a vampire; after all, she's one too—but he was a serial killer and he killed her parents, as well as trying to kill her sister twice! She really had no choice! But the Slasher killings have started again and Slade Jackson of the FBI is positive that Jake is still alive and still killing. Sleeping with the sexy FBI agent is probably not the smartest thing Meredith has ever done but it may be the only way to find the new killer and discover if Jake is really still alive!

Mountain Rendezvous is a fun, sexy, action-packed adventure of a romance! Although this is a sequel to Ms. Hasker's Midnight Rendezvous it is certainly capable of standing alone. You gain enough general background information that the players and past plot are not a mystery. I didn't find myself lost, although it would have been nice to read the first story. Ms. Hacker has created a convincing alternate reality with some very likeable characters as well as some evil villains with a theme of good vs. evil. The sex and romance between Meredith and Slade is also very hot. Scenes contain oral, vanilla and vampire biting, and happen in some unusual places. The plot moves quickly and although this story is resolved there is also obvious opportunity for more books set in this reality. I enjoyed Mountain Rendezvous and found it a nice solid vampire tale.

Default New Review - The Bodyguard from Michelle Hasker's Blog

I am so thrilled to tell you about this review. Lacey from Romance Junkies has written what is probably my best review ever, tied with the one that Ali gave me for the same book :)

My review!

The whole review is so fantastic it's hard to pick a snippet to share.

I also applaud Elena’s strength and how she never gave up. THE BODYGUARD is a heartfelt story that will dwell in your memory long after you read the last word. A job well done, Ms. Hasker. I highly recommend this book.

I am sooo pleased to see that what I'd intended to do with the story suceeded :) I love Elena and can't wait for you all to see a little bit more of her in The Bodyguard: Nash.

Default New Review for Screaming Orgasm from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Screaming Orgasm has received the most fabulous review from Sensual eCataromance!

Reading about Brandon and Tara in Del Fantasma: Screaming Orgasm by Michelle Hasker was intriguing as well as thoroughly enthralling. I couldn’t stop reading from the first page, it had me hooked right through and the sexy way these two finally cemented their bond, well I was totally blown away. I loved Brandon and his need to show Tara that he loved her, no matter what she was. I loved Tara too; it takes courage to withhold a part of yourself that could kill someone and also to know right from wrong. Together these two were dynamite, the eroticism between them was stellar, and it made me enjoy the story all that much more. Ms Hasker is a new author for me and if this story is anything to go by I’ll be reading more of her works very soon. Del Fantasma: Screaming Orgasm is definitely a book that will have readers screaming in more ways than one.

Default NEW REVIEW: Mountain Rendezvous! from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Pam from My Book Cravings reviewed Mountain Rendezvous.

Here is the link, and a snippet of that wonderful review:

When these two determined individuals meet the sparks fly. First in annoyance, then anger and finally culminating in a desire so intense that he’d let her feed from his throat instead of letting her turn to someone else. The descriptions of Meredith’s uncertainty and guilt over the crimes her husband had committed and that she had been fooled by the mask he showed to herself and others in their world, excellently done. Slade’s determination to not only find the killer but to keep Meredith for himself no matter what the risk to his life a real turn on. This is a vampire story that begs to be read and I look forward to the next story by this author.

Thank you PAM and My Book Cravings!!

Default New Review!! Bunny Love :) from Michelle Hasker's Blog

I got a wonderful review from Amelia at Sensual eCataromance!

http://sensual.ecataromance.com/index.php?p=354

Though a little bunny brought Blade and Tambra together, it is the intense desire they feel for each other which also has them seeking out the other from time to time. Filled with fiery love scenes, this couple definitely knows about passion and how to express it with eagerness. The moments concerning the tiny critter are touchingly written, and there are some amusing times when Blade and Tambra first meet in her tent. Whether the scene is sensual in nature or more emotional, the genuine feelings of the characters come to the surface, making the event all the more real. Michelle Hasker has composed a delightfully passionate story with BUNNY LOVE.

Default Nash has been Reviewed! Thrice! from Michelle Hasker's Blog

LOL I didn't know until I got the review listing from Loose, that Nash had received three reviews!

The first from Literary Nymphs:

The Bodyguard: Nash is the second and newest release in Ms. Hasker’s bodyguard series. The attraction between Vickie and Nash is instantaneous and almost violent in its intensity and the sparks literally fly whenever they get in the same room. The story is well written, is fast paced, filled with sizzling hot sexual encounters, and has great integration of the characters from the previous book. Ultimately these two are perfect lovers and partners. The question is whether their desire and lust can turn into love and trust that will last forever.

With the hints given in this book, I’m eagerly waiting for Sorin’s book to find out how this extended plotline plays out. The ending only leaves you wanting to know more.

And second from JERR:

Tallyn Porter from JERR gave Nash: 4 Stars and a heat level H

Nash is the second installment of The Bodyguard series which can be read independently. Nash is a charming, alpha and overprotective man who has found his true mate in an independent, strong-willed and powerful witch named Vicki. He loves her unconditionally, while she doesn't quite seem to trust him just yet until she comes to realize that they belong together. The intimacy they share is passionate and very hot which includes oral stimulation, voyeurism and a little bit of BDSM to spice up their romance. The sex scenes were very titillating and seductive, yet full of emotions due to Nash giving up his control to Vicki. I found that the secondary characters from the first story, Nic, Elena and Sorin, help to create the mystery and pending threat without overshadowing the main focus of Vicki and Nash's relationship. I enjoyed the meticulous details and scenery within this tale making magic very realistic in this story. The steps that Nash goes through to help Vicki with her powers make him such a caring character and makes me love him even more. I haven't read Nic and Elena's story but with their appearance in this book, I definitely want to get to know them even more. I look forward to the next installment of this interesting series.

You must belong to the JERR yahoo group to be able to access this review in the Jan 29th edition of their ezine.

And last but NOT least:

Night Owl Romance:
Night Owl romance reviewer Dee gave Nash 4.5 and named it a Top Pick

The Bodyguard: Nash is a fast paced 71 page erotically entertaining story with conflict good guys and bad guys - and a heroine that stumbles through life until her mate shows her the way. The settings have just enough color as the characters actions are the focus. Their amorous sex scenes tantalize rewarding author Michelle Hasker a gold star for a climactic job - well done. The plot is easy to follow with personable characters; perceivable settings, erotic love scenes, and conflict all in a neat little package.

Default New Review, and one I haven't posted before from Michelle Hasker's Blog

This is just part of the fabulous review Amanda from Romance Junkies gave Weekend Menage:
Five Blue Ribbons:
WEEKEND MENAGE by Michelle Hasker is wickedly erotic. This story is sure to leave you breathless and hot and bothered! Michelle Hasker is a phenomenal writer who really knows how to pack a punch with her short stories. She's definitely one of my favorite authors and each of her stories leaves you feeling complete when you're finished reading.

and another review I found today on the same site:
Five Blue Ribbons:
THE BODYGUARD: NASH is one hell of a start to a new series from the amazingly talented Michelle Hasker. This story just exploded with passion from the very first page and keeps you on the edge of your seat in carnal delight until the very end. Nash is downright sexy! ....... She fights him tooth and nail for her independence which makes for some very interesting and humorous dialogue between the two. When these two come together, objects literally explode around them! THE BODYGUARD: NASH is a rare gem in the paranormal world of writing and I'm completely addicted. I cannot wait for the next story in this series!

Default Reviews! lots of them from Michelle Hasker's Blog

YAY I have some yummy reviews to post for you all :)

Irish Dreams:
Rosalynne from The Romance Studio gave Irish Dreams 5 hearts.

I absolutely loved this story! I have not read a tale this captivatingly charming in a very long time. It had a bit of all the elements that to this reader make a story perfect - a smart, sensibly sexy heroine; the dark, mysterious, gorgeous hero; a well balanced mix of love and lust; beautifully written passionate scenes...all mixed together with that little bit of magic that is Ireland. More than worth the time spent reading. I will definitely be recommending this tale to others.

Tarot Cards! at FAR from Stephanie B.
Synchronicity One - 5 Angels
All of the stories are entertaining and unique; no two tales are alike. ....If you enjoy quirky tales, Tarot readings, hot sex scenes, and emotional romances, you will enjoy the set of tales in this anthology!
Entire review: FAR

Synchronicity Two - 4 Angels
All of the stories are erotic in nature and all are about the things that occur around the main character getting the tarot card reading from Abigail. There is a volume 3, and I intend to read it too. This is a fun and entertaining set of anthologies!

Default Reviews-the good, the bad, the ugly from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Some days we get really good reviews and some days we don't. Sometimes we get reviews that make us wonder if the reviewer actually even read the story. And usually an author won't talk about bad reviews. We don't want to upset a reviewer. You know what, if someone doesn't like a book, that's okay. We can't all like everything. But sometimes I see things and want to respond to them. I got two reviews like that today. Reviews I want to respond to.

I want to say that I did email and thank these reviewers. They spent time reading my books and writing reviews. And since they didn't enjoy my stories it must not have been much fun. I do appreciate all feedback, even if it hurts or I don't agree with it. Below are the reviews. My comments are in italics.

I had a review from Jerr for Witchy Woes: Tamara -
Rating: 3 Stars
Heat level: S
While I learned more about the Wiccan religion in Witchy Woes: Tamara, I didn’t really like the way the story was written. I did catch a glimpse of the plot but it didn’t meet the needs of Dante and Tamara. There was little insight to the main characters’ past but I found it wasn’t necessary. (Fair enough. Since this was a novella it is shorter than a full length story, and some people like more backstory.) It comes across that Tamara knows she is dying of cancer and after watching her father grieve for her deceased mother, would never willingly put a love one in that situation. I began to wonder what kind of firefighter Dante was since he didn’t have the normal two on/three off shift as most firefighters. (I was not aware that all firefighters had to have the same schedule. My brother being an exfirefighter, and my father being ex-firepolice turned EMT, I never thought that I'd be told I didn't know what shift my hero should work. In my town firefighters are actually volunteer and only go to work when there is a call. What about the 'panama schedule'? 2 days on and then 3 off followed by 3 on and 2 off so you have every other weekend off. I also know some firefighters who work 4 days on and 4 days off and others who work 2 on and 2 off. I don't think less of the volunteers than of those who work 4 days on and 4 off. Or 2 on and 3 off. It's different depending on where you are in the world.) I didn’t notice much sexual chemistry- it was more of you were meant to be mine. The sex was not hot or spicy, but sensual. I was glad that it didn’t come across as forced given the little time Dante and Tamara have known each other. The secondary characters were described in details with the understanding their story will be told later…maybe. (No maybe. The entire series was on the coming soon schedule at WCPT as early as 2007.) While Witchy Woes: Tamara wasn’t my caramel latte, those who enjoy reading stories involving the Wiccan religion will certainly enjoy this story. (I did have a few good reviews from some people, but am well aware that not everyone is going to like my story. And that is okay. Really. I am just a little puzzled that my firefighter not meeting a specific work scheduled rated a mention in my review.)

Review for Agency: Serpent's Kiss from JERR -
Rating: 3 Stars
Heat level: H
I will say Serpent’s Kiss is very well written, so much so that it seemed too real for my tastes. (I will say thank you for that. I knew that the hero could be disturbing to some.) However, I didn’t like the characters very much. Kim seemed more a mystery until the major revelation about her comes about. John seemed to enjoy watching the snake execute his enemies just a little too much for comfort. I know that he was pretending to be a drug lieutenant working his way to the top and had to rule by fear, but he always made bets on how many minutes they’d live after the snake crawled up their legs and that just freaked me out. John also enjoyed describing exactly what was happening to the victims’ bodies as the snake killed them. This graphic carnage could be upsetting to some.Â* The plot is very good with many twists, turns and surprises. (Thank you :) ) A few of the sex scenes are unusual, including a sex scene in shifted form that may upset sensitive readers. (I do not recall writing any scene where they have sex where Kim is in snake form. She shifts into human form while in bed with John and they make love. She immediately reverts back to snake as he's waking and slithers off. She needs to maintain her cover. Trust me, she'd rather have stayed in bed. I hate beastality and I would not include that in my story.) Sometimes the language is a little coarse, especially when John has a disturbing a wet dream about Kim. If you enjoy realistic action and adventure, you’d probably enjoy this. (Thank you :) )

So - if any of you wanna read a story with a firefighter on an odd schedule and a snake shifter with a bad guy hero I modeled after The Master from Doctor Who, give my stories a try :)

Default New Review -Synchronicity Three from Michelle Hasker's Blog

Stephanie B from Fallen Angels Reviews read our Tarot card anthology and gave Volume three 5 angels.

This was a wonderful series. All of the stories were unique and uplifting. In this final anthology, the stories were just as good as they were in the first two editions. I find that sometimes authors seem to lose steam over long projects but that did not happen in this series. I liked how all of these stories are linked in some way to the rest even if it is just that they saw the tarot reader Abby. If you love tales of fortunes coming true, people finding the right match for their situation and personality, and happy endings, you will enjoy this anthology and the two that came before it. This was a well done project!

Default Review for Witchy Woes: Candace! from Michelle Hasker's Blog

To read the entire review, click here.

I recall with great enjoyment several memorable and hysterical situations where a number of secondary characters aid in advancing the plot, adding a little balance and levity to the story. Above all else, this is an erotic romance, and Brody is an expert chocolateur when it comes to using his desserts to exploit Candace's sweet tooth. The scenes between the two are beyond decadent in some instances. I definitely recommend Witchy Woes: Candace to everyone who read the first installment and certainly to anyone just interested in a great book.
